To achieve the elegant Carbonized (Caramel / Amber Toned) color finish, the raw bamboo materials are pressure-steamed for 15 minutes, caramelizing the plant’s natural sugars to yield a deep, uniform hue throughout the board. Cross-laminated and hydraulic heat-pressed, these unfinished 4’x8’ sheets offer a free-formaldehyde emission rating and deliver 3 to 4 times the dimensional stability of traditional Red Oak.

🏭 Manufacturing Process
Our heavy-duty industrial bamboo plywood is engineered using premium Moso bamboo stalks harvested at peak maturity from ecological forestry zones in Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian, and Zhejiang provinces, with our main extraction base nestled within the Huangshan Mountain range.
- Precision Slicing & Planing: Raw mature bamboo poles are cut, split, and planed into fine, uniform rectangular strips.
- Pot-Steaming Carbonization: The bamboo strips are placed in a high-pressure treatment pot and steamed for 15 minutes to fully caramelize internal starches, safeguarding the panel from future wood-boring pests while locking in the rich amber color.
- Kiln Drying & Sanding: Strips are kiln-dried to an optimized, uniform moisture content and sanded flat.
- Side-Pressed & Cross-Laminated Stacking: Coated evenly with premium non-toxic adhesive matrices, the strips are oriented on edge (vertical grain) and arranged in cross-laminated layers over a solid vertical core to counteract directional stress.
- Heavy Hydraulic Hot-Pressing: The stacked layers are subjected to immense hydraulic pressure and heat-cured into solid, stable 2440x1220mm sheets.
