Bamboo is older, quality is better.
Bamboo flooring is produced from 5-6 years of bamboo trees. If bamboo is less 4 years, it is too soft and low density. If bamboo is too old, it is more fragile because the bamboo fiber is old too.

Double Tong and Groove bamboo flooring can be installed without glue and nails.
There is no big difference between single tongue and groove with double tongue and groove. The bamboo flooring with double tongue and groove cannot connect together without nail or glue, if the moisture is too high, bamboo flooring will swear; if the moisture is too low, bamboo flooring will shrink.

Thicker bamboo flooring, quality is better.
15mm thickness bamboo flooring is thick enough for commercial and residential because of high density of bamboo. Bamboo strips need be cut off the green and yellow parts from raw bamboo, after cutting, bamboo strip is 5mm thickness, with 3 layers pressing, it is 15mm thickness.

Bamboo flooring has insects and worms.
Bamboo has abundant of sugar, starch, amino acid and protein and insects or worms can have a good living inside of bamboo. But in bamboo flooring production, we boil the bamboo strip to get rid of all those nutrient substances, so insects and worms cannot survive inside of bamboo any more.

Bamboo flooring can split after a certain time.
Bamboo flooring is glued and pressed with high pressure – 800 tons, so it will not split at regular condition.

Bamboo flooring is not good as hardwood flooring.
Bamboo flooring is produced by bamboo and it is elegant, natural and eco friendly. Hardwood flooring is from wood log. Bamboo flooring has 36 processing steps, but hardwood flooring has only 13 steps.
